Withypool is a small remote village in the heart of Exmoor and in the
Barle Valley.
The village of Withypool is on route on the Two Moors Way and is a fantastic base for
walkers. The area is renound for hunting, fishing and shooting with abundance
of wildlife on the doorstep.
Mole End is a two bed cottage overlooking the moor and next to the old
packhorse bridge over the River Barle.
Walking is straight out of the door over miles of paths on thez moors or
following the river to the famous Tarr Steps or Landacre Bridge.
Walk over the bridge to the vilage shop, post office with tea rooms or to
The Royal Oak pub which serves top class meals and ales.
The town of Dulverton is 15 minutes away with South Molton which
has a weekly market 20 minutes away.
The cottage has recently been totally renovated and is very comfortable with
access to the internet, sky tv and a telephone. There is no mobile phone
signal in the village.
